Krispin holds BA & BE degrees from Dartmouth College, and has just completed an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Limerick through a research partnership with the European Media Lab. At Dartmouth, his concentrations were User Interface Engineering and Classical Animation; at the University of Limerick, Interaction Design. Prior to joining the Interaction Design Centre, he worked in web development and interface design for TAEdge. Krispin enjoys realizing concepts in physical & digital media through traditional & computer-aided techniques, wrestling with interdisciplinary problems and taming technologies for (and with!) non-technophiles. He has developed competence in prototyping, cross-disciplinary design communication, user research methods and project management. A U.S. citizen of Scandinavian descent, Krispin has lived & worked internationally (in the United States, Venezuela and Ireland) and travelled throughout the Americas and Europe. He loves trail-running, cooking with friends and day-dreaming on train rides.
